We are Gifted with an Eleven Inch Blanket of Snow

Tulsa got 11 inches of snow on November 30 which is a record here for the month of November. It's the sort of thing that is a nuisance for adults and a thrill for children. Our little house looks like a Christmas Card.

Santa's sleigh is a bit snowed under.

Oh gosh! How beautiful! I bet it feels real Christmassy with all the beautiful snow falling.

In December 1995, my parents brought me to San Francisco, Florida, Washington, New York, Toronto (in that order). I can never forget how lovely the snow was and how cold the weather was. Oh, and how slippery the ground was with melting ice. In my humble opinion, Washington is the coldest of them all (at Arlington Cemetery). I would love to visit those places again in winter during Christmas with carols playing in the air.

Over in Singapore, all we get is drenching rain and rising taxes.

Thank you for the kind comments.
It is nice to look at fresh snow out the window, less nice to walk through it with wet feet. :)

What a lovely Christmas card - setting me into the right Advent mood!

I envy you! Here in Norway we have had relative mild winter so far with a lot of rain but no snow:-(

Thanks for your visit and nice comments on my blog - I'm glad you liked to read a bit about Norway, our culture and tradition.
